Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team

Serving Ben Nevis, Aonach Mor and the Lochaber area

February 2012

It’s been a busy few weeks for the team with callouts and training. The team has been dealing with mainly fallen climbers on Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor. Tragic events yesterday in Zero Gully. Great work by JS and DP and the RAF SAR. The team over the weekend hosted a Mountain Rescue Winter Stretcher Lowering Course, which saw MR members from around Scotland learning how to rig ropes in a variety of ways.
You can follow us on our Facebook page and donations can be made through this site.
The team sends its condolences to the family and friends of yesterdays incident. And wishes all others speedy recovery.
