About 1515 hrs police in Fort William were informed of two climbers who were unable to continue their chosen route. Rescue 177 was training in the area and conveyed LMRT members to Ben Nevis.

The two climbers were located in Comb Gully and a member of LMRT was lowered to them. After being checked, the climbers were assisted to the top and all persons removed by R177. No injuries were sustained.
